Bulky, pricey, or just annoying to pack — some things don’t make the move to Uni. Our Library of Things lets University of Portsmouth students borrow exactly what they need, when they need it, for just a small donation.

From carpet cleaners for end-of-tenancy cleaning to cake tins for birthday celebrations, sewing machines for creative projects or badge makers for society events.  With over 700 items we’re bound to be able to help you out.

Something broken? Fix rather than ditch

Save money by repairing your broken things with the help of our lovely volunteers at Repair Café Portsmouth. From clothes with ripped seams or lost buttons to small kitchen gadgets that are no longer working. You’ll sit with us and learn a new skill, and we’ll do our best to help you fix it for a donation.
